Basic Allowance For Housing (BAH)
Your BAH will be used in one of two ways. You can either rent on base or you can live off base. If you live off base, you can either rent or buy. Click Here for current BAH rates.
On Base Housing ( Rent On-Base )
You can contact the housing office at 907-552-4328. Please keep in mind that there is a process involved in renting on Base housing to include wait times.
Off Base Single Family Rentals-You can choose to rent off base if you wish. Check our database for available single-family homes.

Elmendorf Air Force Base, adjacent to Anchorage, is the largest Air Force installation in Alaska and home of the Headquarters, Alaskan Command (ALCOM), Alaskan NORAD Region (ANR), Eleventh Air Force (11 AF), and the 3rd Wing. The Eleventh Air Force's three groups and constituent squadrons maintain the defense capability and remote operating sites throughout Alaska.
